Why do we establish a level left wrist at Impact Fix even though we know that maximum power is achieved when impact occurs prior to FULL EXTENSION of the Lever Assembly per 2-P and 2-N-1?

Tom,
Full Extension of the Primary Lever occurs when the Left Wrist is fully Uncocked. Since we want Impact to occur just prior to Full Extension, the necessary Impact Fix alignment is Level.

Thanks Lynn
Fog crept in when I pondered the shortening of the primary lever that occurs when the left wrist cocks. I mistakenly assumed that the lever also shortened (from shoulder to sweet spot) when the left wrist uncocked. My error was in thinking that the lever was at maximum length when the wrist was level.
Glad you guys are talking about this. I'm trying to get this incubated. EC has been helping me get this down. I read the thread where Yoda described the Uncocking as hammering the turf raising the club on a vertical plane hammering down to full extension. Broke out the old Impact bag this morning. I thought about Uncocking On-Plane down the plane line. I'm Hitting so I'm trying to drive the thumb with #1 in paddle-wheel motion.
Could you guys help me with Feel on this? I have not been getting full extension. So to me the Feel for this motion is the left thumb pad is driven what feels more "UNDERNEATH." Am I on the right track here?
Also, I'm trying to reconcile Paddle-Wheel and "driving #1 to China." Is Paddle-Wheel motion a "Steep" or strong downward motion? OR is it a more sweeping motion? My thought is it is the former, but just wanted to verify.
When I do get the Full Extension of the Primary Lever Assembly, the difference in compression and sound is a distinct difference.
