Beyond Belief
I sent the "before" video to some of my pro buddies for comic relief. I didn't remember that the student was coming back on the same day that I had sent the video. I had to send a follow-up video, after the guy astonished me with his changes.
I thought he was going to be my Charles Barkley.

wow!
I actually covered my screen in spittle after bursting out laughing at the first swing, the 'top' was hilarious.
He was doing a damn good job getting back to impact with it though.
The second swing was that of a golfer.
great job Ted

How do you think I felt when I covered my student with "spittle"? We fossils remember "Candid Camera". The youth will understand when I thought I was being "punked"!
When he said that he didn't want to change much, I tried to keep a straight face.

Great Ted, really great.
The Mission Field is fertile.
So many golfers . . .
So little time.
Let's get'em!

Ted, I have a specific question or two.

How much of this gentlemen's improvement centered on TSP and his pivot, in terms of percent? What was his first insight and can you discuss what 20% of his instructional improvements yielded his 80% of result?

It was solely vertical wrist cocking. He had some baseball experience. So, I asked him if he would ever arch his left wrist and bend his right to hit a baseball. He said, "Never."
I asked him to take the club back a few times with only vertical wrist cock. He felt like he was taking the club over his head. But, when he saw it on video, he was sold.

Ted, the vertical wrist cock is very important to me.

It was the most powerful video I ever saw from Lynn. Since Lynn is a hitter, and I think you are, do you instruct yor student to pivot to bring the power package down , and then drive the wrist to uncock using pp # 1 or pp # 3 or is it the unbending of the elbow or?
I find that maximizing the VULW (vert uncocking left wrist) quiets the rest of the body, and that the pivot can be very slow and smooth until the uncocking. This also seems to be a very accurate strike with low wear and tear on the joints.
Should throwaway be a worry with this technique?
Thanks for your interesting examples.
