The weather played nicely for the earlier to mid starters on the opening day of the Championship.
Low scoring day today, only 1 player in the whole field shooting over 80 and about half of the field is under par.
John Daly was tearing up the course early on and could have so easily shot a 64 but ended up with a 67.
Rory McIroy shot the lowest round of the day with a 63 to lead at -9 for the day.
Our own LBG hero Brian Gay was out late on in the day when the weather changed and we had more rain and wind but finished with a respectable level par round of 72.
Going to try and speak to Yoda later on before meeting up tomorrow.
Hopefully with BG teeing off earlish tomorrow he will get some of the good weather the early starters go today.
