I have been hitting some shots of late high and right. Sometimes I feel as though I may add some right wrist bend on the downswing. What are the consequences of adding right wrist bend in the swing? This happens more often when I don't start from impact fix. Today I hit a bucket of balls starting at impact fix and it seemed to help. What kind of ball flight would occur when right wrist bend increases on the downswing?

Are you still using the Angle of Approach Procedure? If you is . . . remember that is the line for the CLUBHEAD not the Clubface. Soooooo . . . . most people when Swinging more out align the face to be square to the path ala straight push or if you don't get Angled Hinging and get Vertical Hinging high and right to right.
So think about it . . . . if you KNOW (do you?) that you are moving the club on a true inside-out (10-5-E) path then the righties are a face jobbie . . . face open to path = right and curving more right . . . face aligned to the path = straight push . . . . face slightly closed to the path = lil' draw . . . If she's goin' higher than usual and you're compressing it then you got it laying back more. Want to hit the fade with your procedure . . . body aimed left, FACE aimed LEFT still swing out but with the face a little open to your path a separation . . . gets you a little Trevino fade. Lee said "Aim Left. Swing Right. Walk Straight."
So what is the hitter's move to close the face and prevent clubhead layback? Horizontal hinging isn't really available. Is it all about setting the face more closed at address? Impact as a swivel doen't seem like the right option either?

Open clubface.
Hitters set the right wrist and forget about it because it is set for IMPACT.
A Hitter's toe on the clubhead will lag so at address, close the face a bit and leave the Right Forearm Flying Wedge alone.

So Robertex- close the clubface some at address - do this on the range to see what works. The Hit stroke does not have to drop off to the right. Unlike a Swinger's Horizontal Hinge that hits the same hole in the sky, only different club lofts from different clubs change the flight. A Hitter can with Angled Hinging program any ball flight from address.
I'm not a hitter - I don't think. Just asking for discussion as it is something that I struggled with when I tried hitting. Good news is it is something I struggled with swinging too.
