Before Sat. I would either putt well, drive well or hit irons well. I've never had a wedge/sand or chipping problem.

Irons have been very good since July. We worked on driver 2 weeks ago - alignment, and left wrist breakdown. I was duck hooking just about everything.

Last week - putting/lag - I was taking the putter back too fast and my body was moving alot. With lag, I was taking the "vice clamp" grip too literal so lag was lacking.

As I was hitting balls after my last lesson, the driver lag and alignment hit me like a brick. I experimented alot that day, and hit a lot of crappy shots, but everytime I went back to what we were working on with setup, alignment and lag - it became effortless to hit it straight.

Then, I realized that my "new driver" swing and my current iron swing setup were exactly the same - at least in feel. My 2 big swing mistakes on Sat - 1 with iron and 1 with driver - were caused by the old driver setup! I new it when it happened and fixed it on the next swing.

Does that make sense??

Thanks again for your help Matt!
