Fish in a Bucket
Imagine that you are holding up a leaning wall, which is of course a Plane. Your palm would support the wall like the Plane of the golf swing. If you have the right palm facing behind you, you've overcooked it.

Try this as prescribed by Yoda . . . grab a dowel, ruler, old shaft or something and imagine you're going to spear a fish. Boom! That's where you need to be at the Top. Your right wrist will be Level Bent and palm up to the plane. That's all you gotta do. Look at your right shoulder. How far have you turned? Not too much right? Look at your feet and legs. Pretty much just standing in place and raising your arm up? That's all you need. No perverted axis tilt, shoulder turn or foot action. There's your Backstroke.

Next . .

Then spear the fish. What you just executed was a Straight Line Deliver Path of the hands to the Aiming Point. There's your Start Down. Straight line DOWN and THROUGH the Aiming Point.

Dead Fishy.
