There is some information out there about the eyes. Some feel the eyes should set forward in the eye sockets (hence golden bear seeing the ball and the hole) or to the left but, never, ever to the rear or right of the eye sockets. This same group feels the "yips" are caused by eyes that set in the back of the eye sockets.
Remember your head can be behind the ball for many reasons. Ball position, tilting of the head, tilting of the spine, etc.. So get in front of a camera when you are putting well and check out zone #1.
