I've recently put a DGSL steel shaft in my driver a Bridgestone j33r 420 and it is working superbly for me - Low spin, lower trajectory, tight dispersion & great roll - I figured why pay mega $'s for a 90 gram graphite with the same tight specs and weight as the $10 DG SL - I find the heavier shaft helps me keep on plane and is easier to push against.
