We had a rope in our basketball gym that went to the ceiling, @ 25 feet. Our cross country regiment was 5 miles in the morning and 10 times up the rope before class.
10 times up and down a 25 foot rope with arm strength only; impressive! I could never come close to that in school.
The reason I asked my question is that my full swing distance with a 48 degree pitching wedge is 130 yards with Swinging and only 105-110 with Hitting and I am trying to figure out why the disparity.
I can tricep press 20# 10 times with right arm only; probably not very good. But, for someone who is 6'2" and wears a 35" sleeve, it seems I ought to be getting more leverage with a Hitting procedure.
