I've been starting up from Impact Fix and believe I may be putting my hands too far forward. I think I'm exagerating the position too much. This is causing very low boring shots and my misses are semi-smothered hooks.

Most good impact positions I've seen show the hands just slightly ahead of the ball.

Anyway, I made the correction and started hitting the ball with a much better trajectory. It's amazing how we tend to "overdo" things in the golf swing!

It was the first thing Yoda stripped out of my setup. Although I thought it was a spot on position, he saw it as exaggeration. We found my grip with a Momentus Indoor Driver from his cartrunk. He had me in the parking lot tracing parking lines and hitting an Impact Bag. It had a formed grip on it that put my hands in the traditional grip.
