I'd like to hear this as well. Personally I don't think there's a mechanical disadvantage, but more or less what the golfer feels more comfortable with. I think the advantage is that it can make it easier for the golfer to execute. It is amazing how many people bash it without every giving it a real chance or feel uncomfortable doing it a few times and never give it a chance.

I agree. Options... One of the things that makes the yellow book so wonderful. No right or wrong, personal preference.
I was always a swinger, always adjusted address. Now I feel I'm more of a hitter, and I'm loving the added structure that impact hands is giving me at address. Makes me feel just like Brian Gay, even if I still hit it like Ben Gay.
