Congratulations to
Curt Sanders, LBG student and friend, on his T-2 perfomance in the Carolinas PGA Professional Championship. Curt [photo below] fired rounds of 71-71-69 / 211 (-5) and finished one shot back (in a 141-man field). In so doing, for the second year in a row, he also wrapped up the Carolinas PGA
Player of the Year honors and an exemption into the PGA TOUR's Quail Hollow Championship or the Wyndham Championship. Also, Curt is exempt into the PGA's Professional National Championship at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Indiana, June 27–30, 2010, where the top twenty finishers earn spots in the 2010 PGA Championship.

Defending champion
Billy Anderson, another LBG student and no stranger to these pages
http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/thread6845.html, finished at 223 (+7 / T-27).
This is top-flight competition. The Carolinas PGA Section of the Professional Golfers’ Association was established in 1923 and has grown to be the largest of the PGA’s forty-one sections with almost 2,000 professional members. It includes PGA members from North and South Carolina as well as a small portion of southern Virginia, representing more than 800 golf facilities. When you finish at or near the top of this group, you've really done something.
We're proud of you guys!
