I don't understand what you mean by driving the hands straight down to the ball. Aren't you always driving the hands in a straight line to the ball from R shoulder height, but on a diagonal line? Are you saying that your hands at top are almost even with the ball, hence a much steeper downstroke? How does the nutcracker come into this? Thanks.
