Grip at impact fix?

Not necessarily. At impact fix, my focus is on my hands, hence the importance of taking the grip in that position. Impact in a golf swing, not at address is fluid, depending on the pivot, the left shoulder could be much higher than you would have at impact fix. Look at pictures of Nicklaus swinging. He sets up in impact fix, in his golf swing, his left shoulder is higher and more open at impact than at fix. It is a hands controlled process, if you have a snap release, I find the left shoulder opens and raises a lot more. In order to get my hands to appear at impact over my left foot, which is my goal, my left shoulder goes up and back. Otherwise my right arm does not go across my body enough. It is my hands forward that makes the left shoulder go up.
