I don't know much about science, but isn't science a good thing? It's not always right all the time, but science corrects itself when it's wrong - that's the good thing about science - it's always seeking perfection. So there shouldn't be a controversy between TGM and science. Science is in everybody's interest - I would think.

Most scientists work for large corporations, or some branch of government. As a group, they tend to be rather statist in their mindsets.
