Thanks City. I needed that.
There is such a wealth here. It is heartwarming to see some of it is yours.

Do this at horizontal level and incline gradually with your practice swing. Extend your right arm, fully with club in the middle of your right forearm. Snap your right wrist back for exaggeration of the feeling of LAG crashing against your # 3 PP and your right /back elbow bending. Then forget about the LAG and concentrate only on your bent elbow which you will shoot out at the imaginary horizontal ball/target.

By rapidly accelerating your Bennding Right Wrist/back wrist, you have plasterd the LAG against the # 3 PP and your opposite elbow straightening will keep it there until you come to your left/frontside ear. Fire the elbow and (sooner or later) the # 3 PP will go through the ball at speed.

i plan to give this a whirl - if i crush it :-) then we'll meet in Thailand on the lotto proceedes for a few rounds & a few beers

I'm anxious to hear how it goes City...

I have been focusing on basic motion, and finding I can hold my impact alignments and feel more compression when I feel my right arm driving through #1 while monitoring the feel of #3. Driving the right arm through #3 could cause some flipping issues. Just my "feels."

i notice that this is also Lynn's feel ie rt arm driving through #1 with rt shoulder acting as a launchpad

reading between the lines i think he says i shoot a brace of 68s & win my club champs when i master it :-)

it is on the money for me & grateful for your help :-) i wouldn't have read about Yoda's feels without your generosity

avoiding 'original' is a rock solid plan i think

One of my sons has been to Thailand.

He has been almost everywhere! I have been to a very good Thai restaurant in Toronto!

Tim, let me tell you how loosely I hold my swing thoughts. If I cannot shoot a sub 80 round with this swing (meaning if my putting and chips are good), then it's the next fix for the perceived " wobble." I regularly try both a Swinging and Hitting motion.

This winter Jerry, and after I visit Lynn in April, I know I am going to cocentrate a lot on turning "3 shots into 2."

And Jerry, "success has many fathers, while failure is an orphan."

and the love of family, friends, dogs and teaching (which is where this fits in), studying the golf swing through TGM and this site is a profoundly good thing for me.

Tim, the closest I'll ever come to a Hoganesque secret, is the arthritis he must've felt after his accident. Which reminds me to order Troglio's book! :)

I think VJ Trolio's ideas tie very well to the MacDonald drills. I like to do MacDonald drill # 2, feeling some pressure on the left foot before my hips are turned 45°. Similar to VJ's drill... In YODA's swing sequence, I believe he is doing exactly that...

Took them out on maiden game yesterday and they were FANTASTIC.... so now,my VERY good Hiro Honma blades are having a rest in the shed.

Goes to show you can actually play good golf even with OLD clubs, they have a very penetrating ballflight but they have very soft feel(unless its misshit) that hurts, lol,it by the way came from 2ir thru to S/wedge although the s/wedge is called "the Howitzer"........enough of waffle from me,just thought I would share with you ....cheers B/man

Lovely set of wrenches there, Brownman. I am eyeing that putter with envy as well.

Thank you Jerryg, its a spalding Bros "KROFLITE",I bought a very canvas bag with old kroflites just for the putter .

Works well looks good,if u have a steep downhill putt,I use the toe of putter and still able to have a solid stroke and it rolls nice and soft.Did you notice the BEVELLED front bottom edge

Geez, Kev, just what I thought when I looked at that thing. Great looking putter, Brownman. Some of that old stuff is still very utilitarian. I have an old Aristo putter that is fun to use.
