This event will be truly special. We now have a total of exactly 25 confirmed reservations. Of these, eleven are professionals, and ten have earned Authorized Instructor designations in The Golfing Machine. These men are outstanding teaching professionals and would have been a success at whatever field they chose to apply their talents. Happily, they chose golf.

The amateur cast is now 14 strong. Each registrant has been trained personally by our Professional Staff or is a long-term member of LynnBlakeGolf.com or both. Handicaps range from scratch to 12.

With approximately 32 days remaining until kick-off, we now are only 15 participants shy of our maximum of 40. I have been promised reservations from eight prospects and am in contact with another five who have a 'definite interest'. If you love golf, and if you want to experience golf instruction at its finest, then you need to be here.

The remaining reservations will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. And remember, to meet our contractual guarantees, the tuition must go to $1,895 on the 15th.

See you at Cuscowilla!

A vote for the amateur contingent!

I was participant at one of Lynn's previous schools at Old Waverly. I am a busy physician and very much an amateur with a handicap up there in that 12 range. I just want to pipe in and encourage anyone on this site that is on the fence or somewhat intimidated by the all star line up developing for this event. The amazing thing about Lynn and Ted and crew, and I bet this will also apply to the other AI's coming in for this event...they love to teach and improve the 50+ year old 10-12 Hcp like me at least nearly as much as they love to apply TGM principles to a Brian Gay, or a good scratch amateur.

After all this is what Homer was really all about to a great extent, is it not?

I am going to be there to observe, learn and improve. I learned a long time ago in med school that being around the best is the ultimate way to push yourself and make yourself the best you can be. So...if there are any of you out there that are on the fence like I was the first time, worried about the level of TGM knowledge or intensity, let me assure you that if this site appeals to you at all, you WILL love this exposure to these guys...they really are all about making YOU, whatever stage you are, a better golfer.

Thanks, Dave, and welcome aboard! I remember well the way you embraced our concepts -- rooted in scientific fact -- and attacked the ball with vengeance at Old Waverly. Whoa!

:salut:

I know that Cuscowilla is not exactly 'next door' to your thriving Kentucky medical practice, but you know that we will be there to give you 100 percent. And, based on a track record going all the way back to my days with Homer Kelley, when he encouraged me to distribute this knowledge in groups -- as he did himself -- as well as one-on-one during the same engagements . . .

That's a lot!

Can't wait to see you again, my friend. Thanks for writing!

P.S. Now only nine spots (of 40) remain. Our 16 percent discount ($300 -- $1,595 versus $1,895) is applicable for eight more days (through September 15 assuming space available). To reserve your spot, click here http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=5630 and scroll to Fee and Payment Instructions .

See you at Cuscowilla!

Amateur Contingent . . .

Rally 'Round!

Had a call this afternoon from a 62-year old Atlanta attorney who had gotten sick and tired of his life-long 20++ handicap. We began our work -- once a week -- five weeks ago. On this particular Sunday, with his buddies at Sea Island, he had just shot 46-40, with a 3-putt at the last.

Is he excited?

You bet!

Am I excited?

You bet!

I'll introduce you to him at Cuscowilla!

Drew is going, I am out. That is all I have to hear after every basic motion shot...."Did the Yankees make the Playoffs"....:laughing9 :laughing9 :crybaby: :crybaby:

Can't make it this year, life is just too crazy right now. However, at some point in the future.......
Any chance someone could take a group photo so we can start to put together some names and faces???
Take heart ,Rich, AKA Swing Northto South----you could be here in Pittsburgh with our AA baseball team trying to play major league ball and tying the record with 16 losing seasons in a row. Then again, it's now football season with hockey season to follow.
Have fun everyone. Take lots of photos.

The only thing you would hear from me after every Basic Motion would be "Down and Out", "Down and Out". How you link that up in your mind with your baseball team is your problem.

The Brady Crunch

Now thats below the belt.

mb6606 09-08-2008 02:01 PM

Not to bad around here - Sox world champs (about to pass Tampa for first place), Celts world champs, Pats (one play away from world champs).
Belichick loves a challenge - Brady got his start when Bledsoe got knocked out with a rib injury. Besides it's gets boring winning every week! Imagine if Tiger won every week - fans would lose interest.

TO All LGB Members: This is a live report from Cuscowilla where I am with Lynn and a member of the Philadelphia PGA section looking to take his game to the next level. We arrived today in Atlanta where we were greeted by Yoda live and in person and transported to Cuscowilla. The ride was priceless and left us yearning to reach the practice grounds. Upon arrival I was instantly in love with this place. For those that have signed up to attend The Homecoming you are in for a treat. For those on the fence it is time to get off and sign up. This place is paradise!!!!! The accommodations are first class, the people are first class, the practice facility is first class, the restuarant is first class.. The only problem I see is that you will not want to leave this place.

With Regrets

Wish I could make this historic and fun event. Unfortunately, my schedule does not allow me to attend.

It would be great to meet some of the people and put some names and faces to such informative posts. Drew and Rob will miss your comraderie and the chance to share knowledge over a few beverages. If we had one more New Englander maybe we could get Yoda to change the motto from "A Gathering of Eagles" to "A Gathering of Patriots"

Drew there must be a Jack in the Box and a Benihana real close to the site, for you and BBax to be attending. Please be patient with those Yankees fans they don't have the experience of coming just so close. It's easy to love a winner, but it takes a true fan to run the gamut of emotion team loyalty. The heart break of "I can't believe I let those guys think they could go all the way", at season's end to the "This is our year" beginning of the season hope.

Seriously, the Yankees have a storied history and have had some of the greatest legends of the game play for them. They will be on top sooner than we'ld like to see.

Sorry you can't be there Michael. We will miss you. I am sure our paths will cross again down the road. In the mean time, I will, reluctantly  have a cocktail or two, or three, and toast the good fortune of our past libations into the night to discover the depths of TGM.

As far as the Yankees are concerned, no need to give them any ammunition. We've got them right where we want them: for now.

Not as long as I have edit rights on the website! :)

I may be a Lions fan at heart..(sigh)...but I live in Indiana now, and it's mandatory that Indiana residents dislike the Patriots. Plus Tom Brady played for University of Michigan and he was nowhere near that good during his time there...yes, I'm bitter. :laughing9
