Congratulations Drew Chapman!

A tip of the LBG hat to Drew Chapman, PGA, on his recent certification as an Authorized Instructor of The Golfing Machine. Drew, a long-time LBG Forum member and supporter, completed both Levels I and II of the Golf Stroke Engineering Bachelor (GSEB) curriculum. :salut:

Acknowledging our congratulations in a recent private message, he had this to say:
Thanks. Becoming an A.I. is something I always wanted to do, but could not find the time until recently.

Also in the A.I. class were LBG forum members Bill McInerney (McGolfonline), a former mini tour player, now directer of player development at McGolf in Dedham, Massachusetts, one of the top 100 ranked ranges/ learning centers in the country. Rob Baxter (bbax), PGA Head Professional at Crestwood CC in Rehoboth, MA, a former Rhode Island Junior Amateur Champion, earned A.I. status as well.

Thanks for All Your Help. Being part of the forum made the A.I. Classes that much easier.

Congrats Drew! As a New Englander it is great to see TGM taking the region by storm.

SwingNorthtoSouth 05-31-2007 05:05 PM

Congrats

WOW DREW, first the Redsox now this!!!. This could be your year!!!.:salut:
So what rotates around the sweet spot, or should I ask another A1. :laughing9

Sligo33 05-31-2007 07:03 PM

Congratulations to Drew, Bob and Bill on becoming AI's. The first three (of many to come) in Massachusetts. I had the pleasure of attending Level I with these three fine gentleman. Where the New Englanders out numbered the rest of the class. It was so good to sit in class and be understood and understand what was being said. The rest of the class needed some help with translation.

Drew, Thank you for introducing me to the LBG website. It is a valuable resource for information.

Congratulations Drew:salut: and congrats also to all those that graduated.

A New Frontier!

Thank you for all the kind words. While I started my TGM journey some time ago, It wasn't until I got involved with the forum that I was able to add more and more precision into my teaching and understanding of the Little Yellow Book. So many of you have helped in my understanding along the way. I read everyone's posts and enjoy being part of this community; we all speak the same language (dictionary english). I especially want to thank our host Mr. Lynn Blake for being such a giving person and making my journey such a smooth ride.

Now it is time to watch my Red Sox and have a cup of chowda'. BTW, the hosel does rotate arround the Sweet spot, and lately the Sweet Spot has been in New England, at least for me.

Also, congtats to Michael Phillips, a transplated New Englander, on his A.I. Status. We did have alot of fun in California, didn't we ?

All this time I thought Chapman was one of them Pro-feshunawl Wrasslers. No Mikey . . . you don't have enough frequent flyer miles to make it to New England . . . uh??? Yeah mo-ron it's a state! It's right up above North Virginia. Dork.

Chapman . . . if you smelly monkeyturds and dandruff shampoo . . . take cover . . . pain bring the pain!

Congrats! Couldn't happen to a nicer dude! You shoulda been teaching the class though!

That's beautiful- You are a true genius. By the way who's Mo and who's Ron? I looked up under the member list but couldn't find either one of them.

I'd post more- but I need to get on Mapquest- looking for an address in Austin Texas- Some computer geek I'm going to practice my Hitting stroke on. Ya know I was viewing Bagger's profile- it said he was not a member of any public groups- Somehow that made alot of sense to me.

Just after I promised Yoda I'd stop stirring up trouble, someone calls me out of the wiring closet again.

Let me help you out Mike. First, if you want to quote someone make sure you add the [/ to the end of the text. No worries, I did it for you.

Mapquest is soooo not hip. Let me help you with a little Google Earth Sat Mapping. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...2799&z=11&om=1
You can zoom in and see me on the range practicing little flop shots over Buckets head. You are welcome to join me anytime but my club has a strict dress code. You'll have to leave your San Diego Nordstrom Golf outfits at home.

I got some pointie toed boots and spurs you can take back to San Diego with you. I'm sure you'll find good use for them when you cruise Hillcrest in the evenings.

Drew - On a serious note, It's a great pleasure hearing that this forum was helpful in your studies. It makes putting up with MikeO and Bucket so much more tolerable. :)

Congratulations to you, Bill, Rob, and Michael!:salut:

Damn . . . I didn't know that was "public" . . . I thought it was something entirely different . . . amazing what adding an "L" to a word will do for it.

You computer guys- always showing off! What normal person could figaw out that quote thingy any who!

I did try out that google map thing- zoomed all the way in and I just have one thing to say " Holy Bat Mobile- Get a real car!"

Now, the Hillcrest dillio- that was nice - showed some real inside knowledge.

Regarding the serious note for Drew- didn't appreciate that- I mean Bucket and I are in the process of hi-jacking this thread and you try to steer the car (3-F-7-A) back on course- that's a snare my friend- even Drew knows that! I don't think he'd appreciate it either.

Finally, You wont' stop us- we're on a mission. Don't ask details! OK, OK- so we don't know what the mission is- but we are on a mission! There's Bennett and Plummer (BP) - sure their hot now but Bucket and O (BO)- it's a smell that's growing- encompassing ever wider geography!

P.S. Please note I wasn't involved or planning to be involved in this thread until someone in post #8- fired a half eaten greasy chicken bone at me- luckily it hit my power package(6-B) and bounced off!

6bmike 06-01-2007 02:05 AM

Congratulation Drew. I’m so happy for you. I could be so jealous but you really deserve the title after all the time and work you have put in with Homer Kelley’s The Golfing Machine. You so be very proud of your accomplishment. We are.

Whoa - A-Rod just ran behind me and yelled “mine.” Weird. Does that happen much with you DirtDogs?

way to go -

Quote thingies are the finish swivel (4-D-0, 8-12) of posting. But since your swing video didn't include it either, it all makes sense now.

Did I read that right? Hold on, let me fix my glasses. Darn tape isn't holding the frame together.
The B.O. team is going to be in Golfworld and Golf Digest?

Drew, your first mission should you choose to accept it, is to make sure those articles and photos disappear!

Time for everyone to focus on the golf game for the weekend. Enjoy!

Just catching a wave from the silver surfer

Becoming a GSEB without the help from Drew and this forum would have been for more difficult than it turned out. Many thanks for this site and I would love to someday get "Swamped" myself.

Congratulations, BBax, on your own GSEB. Glad to have you here and to know we helped.

Keep those posts comin'!

Had an exellent time with you and BBax, in Carlsbad. Bennihana's was not the same without you guys. I think they had to cut back on bar staff after that week. Also, sad times for Jack-in-the-Box when BBax left. Look forward to running into you guys down the way. I think its my round.

Drew, my thanks are added to Bob's. Your help and insight into TGM made of the course clearer and more comprehensible.
