Shot a 69 today for huge-way t-2 with maybe the leader coming back by days end.

I was teaching all day, but I was told they really showed a lot of Jean during the coverage. I can't imagine how amazing it would be if she could win.

Yes they showed her a lot. It was so cool. I'm stoked to cheer for Jean. She's awesome!

they finally did show her down the closing holes......they would show 15 other shots from people that shooting the moon then come back and well yeah here is Jean for par..............:sad2:

I was busy with lessons all day long, so all I got was periodic updates. I wish I could have watched some of it. I'm hoping I can watch a little tomorrow.

It looks like she made a few bogeys to finish. But, I doubt anyone expected her to be where she is. After the Open last year, I was talking to her on the phone about the week. And, I told her to go out and win it next year. I guess she was listening. I hope she turns in a good round tomorrow.

She had a tough finish, but her yearly earnings just passed the $100,000 mark. That's better than a sharp stick in the eye. :happy3:

Fantastic effort by Jean. She now should be fully aware that she can play with any female in the world.

Jean Reynolds closed with a 77 (+6), 292 (+8) for the week, a T-17 and $42,724.

The US Women's Open is the USGA's flagship female event. Thousands of women aspire, but few even qualify to play. Congrats to Jean on her stellar play on this grand stage!

She was awesome. I loved her attitude. Even NBC showed the difference between her and Paula Creamer's facial expressions and body language. Can't wait to see her at Oakmont next year.
