Right hand is getting stronger and stronger
I can't seem to solve this problem.
My right hand continually gets stronger and stronger the more that I hit the more that right hand creeps around the back side of the shaft and underneath. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution? |
Where is your ball position?
|
With a driver just inside my left foot.
That is the club that it is worst with. With everything else it varies from belt buckle forward. |
Where do your misses go? Were you/are you a cut player?

I'm not necessarily a cut player. When I'm hitting well its dead straight. |

All I know is that the more and more I hit the stronger that right hand gets. |

Single or Standard Wrist Action?

I honestly had not really noticed it but the other day when swinging a little I noticed my right hand seemed to be a bit strong and not allowing proper wrist movement. So I fixed my grip with my right thumb and index touching at address and that solved all my problems. Later when hitting I noticed the right hand getting a whole lot stronger. I decided not to change it really but just monitor it throughout the day and it was continually getting stronger and stronger until #3 was pretty much under the shaft. |
Quit it!
Stop doing that!:laughing9 Turned left hand can work, but a turned right hand is a no-no. Ball position may be a factor becasue the further back of low point you place it the more "turned" your hands look as the back of you left hand faces down the angle of approach. I have found (not quite sure why) that a turned right hand may be a visual perception issue because of an uncentered head i.e. head is over your right knee...from there nothing looks and feels right.
