Please pass my congratulations along to the gentleman. Could you share some of the suggestions you made during yor first lesson? On my first lesson, we traced the baseline of the plane with a laser and discussed the RFT and clap.

I always try to find out about the player's history. He had some baseball experience. Baseball players make quick changes and understand wrist conditions.

I explained uncocking and hinging actions. I also explained the release interval and release point. That changed the physics. Once his hands were educated, changes came quickly.

The plane changed when we worked on tracing versus covering. And, I gave him some simple analogies to change the feels.

Atlanta must be 115 degrees in the shade this time of year.

It's like wearing a sweater in a walk-in oven. I got a new pair of glasses last week. I put on my sunglasses, put my clears in the case, and left them in the car. At the end of the day, the anti-reflective coating on the lenses had melted. Thankfully, they're going to replace them.

Giving so many lessons, it's difficult to remember what gave the student the Ah-Ha moment. But, I'll try to go back into the memory banks.

Impossible
 

I submit that those changes in 4 days is impossible. To prove my point - notice the guy on the right - he has a hat, sunglasses etc. I don't think it is the same guy that is on the left. I submit that the guy on the right is Bucket in disguise! If I'm wrong - then you better run to Ted Fort and take a lesson! :)

From what I've been told, the greens on the courses up there are shot from all of the heat. Timing has never been my strongpoint, but for once I think I got it right :)
