Facebook Integration

Hi Folks,

I am not sure how difficult it would be, but I would love to see us have facebook buttons like some other forums. Simply click a button to "Like" or to "Share" a link to the thread with our friends. I would be clicking all day long as would all the other members I'll bet. I have to believe it would help bring in a bunch of new members and we could do an even better job of spreading the word.

Thanks for considering,
Kevin

Thanks, Kevin. Didn't know this existed and appreciate your nudge in what is obviously the right direction.

Bambam . . .

I know you're listening.

This is way beyond my pay grade.

Help!

Thanks YODA.

You KNOW all of us would use the buttons to help sell the new Alignment Golf II DVD. I used Facebook to post all the TGM Golf Channel Videos as well. Really easy and spreads the word FAST!

Thanks again,
Kevin

Good idea, Kevin. This is an important feature that's part of a pending forum update that I've struggled to find time for this summer. I'll get that feature worked in asap, so you and others can start spreading the word more easily.

That feature is already on the videos in our gallery. Find one you want to share, then click the social network icon on the right to do so.

Thanks for the heads up on the video library. I hadn't noticed. Very slick!!!

I've been going to rallies to promote the website. If we had "Facebook" integration I wouldn't need to do this anymore.

Not sure I would go there by that road.

You should now see a series of image buttons at the top of each thread, next to the 'post reply' button. These will let you submit the thread to your favorite social network site. If there's another favorite site that I'm missing, let me know via this thread.

Hi Ben,

Bucket called me a little while ago and said that most of his "Facebook" Friends are not allowed to have Golf Clubs in Jail. He was asking if I had any suggestions. I don't know? What would you recommend they use?

Warm Regards,
Daryl

I don't know. What does Bucket use when he's trapped in Mike O's basement? Maybe that would work here.

Hi again Ben,

Great job integrating Facebook and those other things at the Top of each thread. You're the best. Get ready to double the membership.

I don't have any "touchy-feely" type friends so I'm not a part of any of those "Lets share our experiences" services. But if I was a member, I'd surely use those buttons.

And I'm a 'touchy-feely" type, but you still will need to drive your own cart in Cuscowilla. JerryG and KevCarter are safe to ride with, and they seem to be nice people, and yes, I have heard them say nice things about you! OB, seems very nice, too! As do all here!

Oops 1st grade is arriving the most lovable (actually k-2nd) and the most difficult!

O.B. is a Gentleman.

Are JerryG and KevCarter going to join us?

JerryG 10-05-2010 09:21 PM

If I get there, I'm sellin' tickets.

GPStyles 10-06-2010 09:04 AM

Kev are you on face book?

I'm there, Andrew Norrby. Send me a friend request, I searched for you but could not find.

Same goes for other FB users

GPStyles 10-08-2010 05:46 AM

still no luck, are you in minnesota? Tried narrowing the search using that but it didn't work

JerryG 10-08-2010 06:30 AM

Yup. He's in Minn.
I hope his elbow gets better soon. He'll need it to shovel snow in a few weeks.

innercityteacher 10-11-2010 07:11 PM

UGH! Kev, do yo have a snow blower?

What kind of roof do you have?

I am seriously concerned!
