Right Elbow in RFT to correct Couples' like takeaway

I've always fought an up and out takeaway sorta like Couples. Unfortunately I lack the ability to consistently re-route and hence can shoot 80 as easily as 68!! I've been working with the dowels on my alignments and what the right forearm takeaway feels like (btw - great video David....I ought to drive the several hours from Charlotte and get a lesson).

My question is -- what does the right elbow do initially on the RFT? Does it stay fairly stationary, move level or upward & inward? What 'feels' stationary is actually up & in slightly and has me on the clubshaft plane at P3 (yes I studied a little MORAD years ago). Thanks for your suggestions.

The right forearm follows the same angle up and back as it was set at address. Use a mirror to look, look, look.

Yes, but are there flat spots?
