That is, rotate the grip of the club to close the clubface to compensate for the "slice producing uncentered motion" of Angled Hinging. ("slice producing" written in relative terms). No closing for short shots as the the ball does not stay on the clubface long enough for an effect. So, for example, if you produce a great deal of compression , you start off at impact fix, and you are hitting a driver, you would want to see a closed clubface relative to the target line.
