The Players Championship / PGA TOUR / May 7-10, 2009
Brian Gay struggled today.
Even par after three, he hit a 125-yard wedge shot short of a front pin on #4, and it rolled back in the water. His next wedge was from about 40 yards: It was a downhill lie in the rough that hit the railroad ties fronting the green and found the same water. His next pitch failed to backtrack down a very steep slope towards the cup, leaving an extemely difficult putt that could possibly also go in the water. That didn't happen, but he missed his twister of a second putt, and he left the green with a nine and +5.
Brian withdrew after yesterday's round. Mrs. Yoda and I will spend today here, then head back Saturday. Meanwhile, here are a few photos from the event.

Boss,
Four of those shots I can understand BUT how on earth did that good looking Lady get involved with you?
Thanks for sharing your experiences of Tour life with us less fortunates. Or should that be less deserving?
