There have been other recent posts in this same general area.

As I read 7-8 and 10-8-0, for Impact Fix the hands and the body are both in the Impact location. The three classifications listed at 10-8-0 appear to have the hands at impact but not the body, which suggests that IMPACT is another classification.

THE FIX is a machine preparation or address engineering component. I read Fix in the context of the player fixing in the mind what is to be achieved at Impact, especially the hands. Mr. Kelley writes in 7-8 that precision alignment of the hands can only be taken in the Impact location.

From 3-F-5-3 and 12-3-0 there is much to be learned about address as it relates to the total motion
