Hi Greg, I have the same problem too. I can nail my irons but when I put my 3W or driver in my hands it's a major problem. It's cold here so I'm hitting into a net but my balls travel very low to the ground with my driver. I can't tell what direction there going since it's a net, all I know is that they go Extremely low. I was thinking I was delofting the club too much, not sure??? Do you have that problem too?
curtis, i have only been able to go out and hit balls once since starting the "hitting" swing with my woods. i have always been long off the tee. that is why i am so frustrated. what i found on the range was that i had to concentrate on the handle of the club-not the club head. i felt like the target line and the line between the last 2 fingers of my left hand stayed parallel. also another thought that helped was feeling that my right hand was opening up as i went thru the ball.i hope this makes since to you.i am asking questions also because i am not sure this is the correct way to tgm hitting. when i try to just feel that it is a right arm thrust i feel that i must come over the top and smother it. i too am asking for any information and other drills. i do know that i am going to keep on "hitting" all clubs, because for the first time in my life i actually believe all clubs are to be struck the same. thanks gt

Some food for thought per Newton's Third Law, Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
In golf, if you hit up on the ball, the ball goes DOWN.
If you hit down on the ball, the ball goes UP.
The only way to know if you are in fact delofting the club TOO MUCH is to capture your swing on high speed video. I would also advise you to go visit a competent AI in your area for some professional assistance.
