How to improve your response time
OK there's no magic. For the test ,depress your mouse button right away and release when the background changes color. Should shave a few tenths off. My best was .151. MGJ is still has the quick draw award!

Back to the Topic
Mike,

This thread is getting a bit off track and for that I apologize. Your thesis deserves much more constructive feedback, which I'm working on in my spare time.

The games are fun and as golfers we all like a challenge, but out of respect for the great effort Mike has put forth here, let's get back to the subject please.

Thanks,

Bagger

The body responds on its own at times, no 'trying' involved.

So in a person who is well trained, I don't think it is a stretch to think that they can react faster than they even 'feel'.

Think about how you react to danger - hot stoves, stupid drivers etc - on automatic. When Tiger talks of adjusting, of 'saving' a shot, I certainly think he is letting his natural instinct take over - in fact we should all be playing that way - no try - just DO

react - like shooting a basketball

To ponder the timing involved seems unimportant IMO.
