One man two-ball select-shot

I feel the way to do this is to always play two shots from the worst ball. If you can shoot in the low 70's in that format you're starting to get somewhere.

How does this work? Basically play captains choice? 2 tee balls pick the worst. From there 2 second shots pick the worst? etc.

You've got it right. Takes a while as the only way to finish is to sink 2 putts. You have to play very consistently to score well.
