Looking for some thoughts on hitting from impact fix. I have been hitting with my hands in a forward postiion, just off my left thigh, and my hips in a more square position. Should I be shifting my hips to the left slightly to get my hands back to mid body? Just wondering how most hitters set up?

But I would say your hands will appear to be over your left foot at impact fix. It is perfectly acceptable to start up from that position.
I've tried both ways - start up from impact fix and start up from adjusted address. I believe I'm personally leaning towards adjusted address - but that's just my personal preference.
