...will do Bagger, thanks. Yeah, I've been lurking around the book and Yodas postings a few yrs now, time to get down to business I reckon. I'll post a long report upon my return.
LOL--I'm ready to get diced and sliced with a light sabre tracing #3 PP. I believe I'll make the most of my visit and enjoy one of your culinary landmarks--Cracker Barrel here I come...
...Ted and I meet at 12:00pm, Saturday August 19th. I'm staying at Crestwood Suites which I think is just about 2 miles from the golf center. I hear CB's not far in either direction--I'll be fasting until then so I can sample everything the barrel can thrown at me.....
...just PM'd Ted to confirm we're on for this Sat, 12-4pm. Ted, Lynn--are we eatin' at CB?
I'd love to have breakfast with you, but I'll be booked all day with lessons. I don't know if you want to get up that early, since we don't start until 12:00. That is, unless you need to take a nap from the sugar crash after the pancakes.
I'm just in last night from Deutschland, HoganFan, and have not had Internet access for the past two weeks. I have seriously missed all you guys on LBG and am delighted to be back.
Now, I know you're in town to see Ted -- you're gonna love it! -- but LBG is not all I've missed. I am experiencing EXW (Extreme Culinary Withdrawal) induced by the complete absence of Cracker Barrels in Germany. There is only one known remedy and that is a serving of one (or more) of the following:
1. Old Timer's Breakfast (unfortunate title, there!);
2. Sunrise Sampler;
3. Country Boy's Breakfast;
4. Uncle Herschel's Favorite.
All the above would require at least a short-stack of pancakes on the side (unless, of course, you decide to go with an order of Momma's Own from the get-go). For those stout-hearted folk able to resist a Four-Accumulator Temptation, click here for a peek at the Mother of All Breakfast Menus http://crackerbarrel.com/menu-tradit...cfm?doc_id=889. We're working on a Yoda's Own addition that could become a popular favorite!
Bottom line: I'll meet you at The Cracker Barrel at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning. We'll go mano a mano with Uncle Herschel, and since I'm also experiencing GIWA (Golf Instructor's Withdrawal Anxiety) -- no teaching in a week! -- you'll probably also get a Yoda Ground School. Providing, of course, we can get it in between bites.
One thing's for sure though: There will be no sausage or cheese or hard rolls tomorrow morning...I've had quite enough lately, thank you! It was great to be abroad, but it's greater still to be back home.
