Last Train to Hacksville
If this game was easy it wouldn't be special. I am in the mid to upper eighties. A hacker? Maybe. But you should have seen me three years ago. Pheewouuuieee, I stank. But I still had fun.

I play off 12.6 so I suck as well. I am either on it or I just plain suck there is no in between.
Oh well, if we are all in the same boat then we can help each other out right?

Been playing nearly four years and have yet to break 80.
With the aid of TGM and the helpful guys on "fog clearing" detail in this, Chuck & Brian's forums, not to mention Dr. Carey Mumford (Keygolf), I hope to do so in the near future. At the tender age of 62 I do not have any time to waste.

I'm about a 10. But if there was a word "ugly10" in the dictionary, my picture would be right next to it. Bent left wrists and fluff balls.
I got a peak at what the Imperatives and flying wedges can do for my ballstriking at the very, very end of last season. This winter I have been building some mean mojo by hanging at golf message boards, fussing over a Yellow Book, working with dowels in the kitchen, and making loud noises out on the screened porch with an impact bag. My wife is encouraging me the whole way.... she says it's just more fodder for the commitment hearing.
I expect to really 'light this candle" with a road trip to The Swamp at the end of the month. Lit match to fuel. Exorcisms of the demons in my Basic Stroke. And the real word, loud and clear.
I'm 55 and, as Burner said above, no more time to waste. Not on the pervasive golf instruction vagueries. Fellow stinkers, let's get on the bus, pump and share the mojo.
Charlie

I've already picked up my outfit from the local FashionCare: - The black coat cleaned.
The black pants neatly pressed.
Extra starch in the white collar.
And I've armed myself with a few choice Recitations from The Good Book Yellow.
I'm ready.
I think.

Me to wife awhile back: "I just taped my new swing for the first time. I've got wobbles in it. I'm going to pursue traveling (from Phila) to Georgia to meet with Yoda and Luke the Nuke.."
Wife: "Georgia? Yoda? Luke the Nuke? Should we have you on medication?"
Me: "I know it sounds a little half baked......
Wife: "No, it sounds completely baked."
Theodan's Shieldmaiden never spares the sword. But, now she wants to come along to film it.

She can film it, Charlie, but nothing will show up.
