Ted and I talked tonight on his way home, and all I heard was, "The fairways were as narrow as a bowling alley."
No matter.
His nines were 34-33, so he must have hit a few and made a few!
We'll find out tomorrow when he logs on!
I can honestly say that that was the toughest Driving Course I might have ever played. They looked more like Bocci courts! Not only did Ted win and play great but he maintained his title of "Food Champion". Congrats!!!
My last three tournament rounds have been under par. Two weeks ago, I had finished my 9th lesson on a Saturday evening, and Yoda had finished teaching his all day'er. He wanted to see me hit a few (something we don't ever get to do). I'm not exaggerating that he spent about ten minutes with me, checking my alignments, etc. Having those green eyes on you any chance you get...priceless.
I played one of my matches in the Georgia Match Play Championship two days later. I shot five under on the par fives (eagle, birdie, birdie, birdie) for a two under total. In the stroke play event on the next day, I shot under par. Then, yesterday, I shot the 67 in the charity event.
Three consecutive under par rounds in tournaments...
For a guy that could shoot an 80 at the drop of a hat B.Y. (before Yoda), I can't tell you how much I appreciate him.

Ted,
Great Round! But could you wipe the butter off of your face from yesterday's crab leg- OR go live with Bucket!

They really go all out at this tournament. They had lobster, shrimp the size of lobsters, blue crab claws, Alaskan king crab legs, steak, and a dessert bar with lots of chocolate. So, it was always my favorite tournament, even before the 67.
