No I don't believe that is correct that Jeff is intending to show that the hands are in the same position. To accomplish that with the short club, then the left wrist would be arched I believe.
It was to showing how he lets the club define the ball position.
Trace the Club Shaft of both clubs to the left shoulder, that is the alignment I was referring too.
