I mean....I'm no video game designer....but if they wanted to, I'm sure they COULD put sensors in that little remote to measure the clubface, forward lean, where the "shaft" is pointing to (Tracing), and maybe even clubhead speed. (all as options anyway)
That would make it so much better....
And really...that's all you would need I think....
Cause measuring center contact etc. would require actually hitting something.
I still wanna a Wii tho....they look cool. (and I don't have $9000 for a PS3 or $8000 for a 360)

The Wii is a console that does look very kewl. I went through the whole console phase when I was younger but haven't been really interested in them for years now but the Wii is something that I might consider.
Like Birdie said the controls just monitor the motion but it must look really silly when you are shadow boxing or swinging an imaginary golf club or tennis racket

lol ya no doubt eh....all into it sitting there by yourself....
That kinda worried me at first (the controller)....but I think the control would mostly be an asset....esp. considering u can buy a normal one if u want.

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)
