Of course you sustain the lag at least until low point is reached. Release of lag is power loss! Rhythm is indispensable ...as you know, no part of the lever assembly can move forward independently. Darth's post above reflects Mr. Kelley's definition of rhythm as an in - line motion of the primary and secondary levers with respect to a hinge motion.
