Hard to see beyond Tiger
I suppose Tiger as to be the red hot favorite as usual.

I would like to see Els put up a good show.

As an Irishman I will of course be cheering on Harrington, Clarke and McGinley

If Phil can swing as well as he was at the AT&T, we could be in for a really excellent back nine battle with Tiger.

surprised you'd say that...he's pretty proven on this course, with his good swing or otherwise. like previous poster stated, if he swings comfortably like the way he did at the AT&T, he'll be in contention. looks like he was a bit fatigued and loose at the nissan. hopefully his head will be in it. that is the biggest factor.

Congrats on your first post, sfmoy. I see you've been on board almost a year now, so you're already a veteran. Keep'em comin'!

For me the favorite winner would be one of my fellow citizens: Stenson, Karlsson, Fasth, Pettersson or Edfors. Best chance: Stenson. Advantage: Recent confidence building wins & he may be one of the relatively few guys still capable of playing the course as a par 68. Disadvantage: I don't think his putting is good enough + he has limited Augusta experience. If he manages to stay on top & come back a few times he'll probably have a shot another year.

So who? Ernie Els taking it home would be great. There's another guy that I'd like to see as a winner: DL3. He should retire with more than one major. So should Freddy Couples. They are both approaching the autumn of their careers.

And the winner is:

Phil lacks the Mental toughness to compete against Tiger. Down the stretch he will miss a short putt or some other bone-head move. He is a nice guy, but...................................
