After buying a house 12 months ago and spending all of my spare time renovating it, I haven't been able to fit any Golfing Machine or practice in for what seems like forever. I just started to get back into it this past week and one of the first areas of the site that I couldn't get enough of was "On TOUR With LBG".
It's been so much fun going through all of the Brian Gay threads (seems like a really great guy) from last year, through to this one right here and seeing how well he is doing. I look forward to the day (not too far in the future at this rate) when Brian does the deed and we can all celebrate. Congratulations to you both for how well your going Brian.
You've got another fan here Brian Good luck this week!!
I was watching the preview of the Brian Gay and Yoda DVD. I watched that wedge shot Brian hits at the :50 second mark about 100 times today and I have to say, I can think of only one golf swing I have ever seen that was as good as that one--the Ben Hogan down-the-line driver in the video in which McLean reviews his swing (the first video).
Speaking of great swings, I would cut off my pinky finger to get that swing vision of Boo Weekley from today's telecast. Either that or I would pay money for a copy of it.

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)
Play suspended due to wind? How windy is it, I would have thought it is part of the game unless it is life threatening (hurricane).
I was a bit surprised to hear this as well, but apparently the wind was blowing hard enough that tree branches were coming down. One of the marshalls was hit by a falling branch. According to pgatour.com, play was suspended because "balls wouldn't remain in place on the 16th, 17th, and 18th greens".
