Starting at impact fix rather than adjusted address maybe?
I'm pretty sure that's what it was about. I believe he started w/ mid-body hands, but was talking about other pros who start more at fix. I just caught bits and pieces and was curious what all he said in that segment.
The forward press thing was his tip to amateurs that are too "static" at start up. I also think it's his way of getting to impact fix.
Stadler can still move it out there and I see he leads the Champions Tour for driving distance at 292. I have to believe he uses 4 barrels, thus his comment about pulling and his pivot. Although I sensed more pivoting and pulling in the slow-mo sequences they showed of him than I expected to see, the thrusting of his right arm was very clear and heavy!
