On the V1 swing of him i filmed myself at the British PGA at Wentworth he has a Pitch basic stroke.

I would stay he is a "swinger". Agreed he is probably 4-barrel with the long club. Yet there might have been some "hitting" procedures on some of his shorter iron shots. Always tough to tell as the telecast does not have fast shutter speeds. He can still be a swinger with a "punch" elbow, and there was no apparent angled hinging on the long swings. Just my $.02. Never the less .... compression and great hands!
