I'm going to put two different colors on there so he can do it himself a little easier.
This worked really well, also. Blue tape for the right hand, white tape for the left. same on his putter. He checks it and gets it right on his own now.
I've done something similar. Except I took small diameter pvc pipe and made marks where their feet go. The marks are made from masking tape that I colored. That way as they grow you can move the marks around. You can take it anywhere and not worry about putting tape down, especially out on grass, etc..
My 6 year old daughter has a pretty good swing and my 2 year old son has an amazing swing. Has a better follow through than 3/4 of the golfers out there. He loves the game, best thing is I don't push him like some parents do. Only problem is he likes to hit pink balls on red tees. Oh well...

We were using sticks outside, but the pvc w/ tape is perfect, thanks for the idea!
This is probably going to far, but I like to build stuff - I'm thinking I could take the pvc and made a 'T' shape, where the long side of the T is pointing towards the ball. And to make it more fun, it would be cool if the pvc were big enough to put a golf ball in, then setup the PVC so the whole thing sits on a slant towards the ball. Instead of a 'T' fitting, use a T with another female fitting on top (I'll get a pic), so they can put the ball in and have it roll out in perfect position to hit it. OK, I gotta make this; my son would love it!
You and me must be alike. I've made something pretty cool myself (different from this). Won't go into detail since some day I would like to market it. I think it's a possibility. Good product, decent price, and good marketing, it could work. Like I said, it's pretty dang cool. I love PVC!
