They seem annoyed that someone who hits fairways and greens might win. As though only 300 yard drives,miracle pitch shots followed by 20 foot double breaking putts should win.

Precisely...because they have nothing to say...the golf appears "boring"...and they lack the insight to explain the technique which is producing the shots...funny to watch though!

4-5 ahead and still firing at the flag even when water is around...The commentators loved that one! Brian's brain may be his best component!! ...25th component (chapter 14)

Let Brian and Lynn explain it to them later

Quick walk to the shop and her not only birdies after his bogey but he keeps on splitting fairways...triumph and disaster treated just the same... very steady head!
