swingers tend to be able to handle more lightweight shafts and swing speed usually becomes the determining factor in overall stiffness and feel for how stiff the tip needs to be.
Usually hitters like heavier (10g or so) shafts with mid/mid high kickpoints with stiff tips. The only shaft that has a soft tip that hitters can hanlde are the Accra series
