Forget about the headweight.....cut it down and then start experiementing with a back weight.
It will make more difference imo
Defintely another vote for backweighting. You can return the static weight and balance point to be exactly as it was at length. Takes 10 minutes and a couple fishing gear weights. Or you can really get into it and test/try 50-100 gms of weights for full blown backweighting.
Careful with lead tape, and particularly powder down the shaft. They can change that "precious" MOI and throw off the heel-toe weighting.
