Hello again. I'm not qualified to give you an answer, but my guess is no. There is no such thing as a silly question. And somebody will answer this with the necessary authority.

It's an excellent question, and one I have often wondered about. cause it seems to me the first move down has to be a pull given the position of the club to the right arm. cant really push something behind you.

plus when the club is on the followthrough the left arm isn't really pulling anymore is it, once the club passed?

Maybe the "left arm is always pulling and right always pushing" isn't a literal thing?
