Its ratings week and Daryl and I are trying to "move the needle" with a good old fashioned dust up.
Hey, not speaking for BerntR, but I been outa this since your Post #14!
Pass the popcorn!
P.S. For the afficionados . . . The High Noon theme song was sung by Francesco Paolo LoVecchio, aka . . .
Frankie Laine.
For the younger folk who don't know Frankie Laine, I know you know Clint Eastwood.
And, if you know Clint, you should know Rowdy Yates.
And, if you know Rowdy Yates, you'll crank the volume and know . . .
Rawhide!
Rawhide
The Official LBG Theme Song!
Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
Keep movin', movin', movin',
Though they're disapprovin',
Keep them doggies movin' Rawhide!
Don't try to understand 'em,
Just rope, throw and brand'em,
Soon we'll be living high and wide.
My heart's calculatin'
My true love will be waitin', be waiting at the end of my ride.
Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em on,
Move 'em on, head 'em up, Rawhide!
Cut'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, let 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in, Rawhide.
Keep rollin', rollin', rollin'
Though the streams are swollen
Keep them dogies rollin'
Rawhide!
Through rain and wind and weather
Hell-bent for leather
Wishin' my gal was by my side.
All the things I'm missin',
Good vittles, love, and kissin',
Are waiting at the end of my ride
Move 'em on, head 'em up
Head 'em up, move 'em on
Move 'em on, head 'em on
Rawhide
Cut'em out, ride 'em in,
Ride 'em in, let'em out,
Cut'em out, ride 'em in
Rawhide!
Count 'em out, ride 'em in,
Ride 'em in, count 'em out,
Count 'em out, ride 'em in
Rawhide!

I love the lyrics, energy and heart of this song. I love its primordial rhythm and the insistent crack of the bullwhip's lash. It captures the rigors of the thousand-mile cattle drives of the early West. And, in spirit, it is nothing less than the story of LBG and its push since 2004.
Okay, guys, I know this ain't exactly about Hogan'sRight Shoulder Motion, etc.
However . . .
It is about friends following friends one-after-another in conversation here. Here being late night at year-end with me (after a long and happy day on the lesson tee) posting clips from American western movie classics and adopting a theme song for LBG.
Anyway, one day left in the year.
With a nod to the 364 behind, let's all take cup in hand and toast the 365 ahead.

This is our time.
Let's make the most of it.
Well, a solid 5% of my reason is To improve my golf stroke. Happy New Year.
