Kevin, you are referring to the MacDonald drills of the hip leading the pivot first followed by the right elbow pistoning? Though if the snap would give me extra yards ala Sergio who am I to reject such a boon?
ICT
Nope, arms up trying to look like a goal post and turn to finish...
Remember, the swing happens in the blink of an eye. We can focus on address, top, and finish. Everything from top to finish happens from preparation and intent.

Kevin, I figured out why I was shanking so bad with the Taly. Can you guess why? Now I wish I had'nt given the thing away.
dodger,
I'll bet Taly would love to sell you another. We gotta get together with Kev soon and work on our winter motions. I lift my cuppa-Joe with my right side. How about you?
No more Taly for me Jerry, still have ptsd from the shanks. I did discover that I kept my hands ahead nicely with it, but failed to correct the reason I was shanking. My old bugaboo, below plane, too inside out. By tracing from impact thru properly, no more shanks. Think of the goal post drill or Lynn or Hogan's finish. To get the hands that far left of the head at the finish, the hands and club rotate with the pivot. Move your hands to that position in a true hands controlled pivot motion and the body does just what it should.

Geez, dodger. That was also one of my many issues. I also sometimes didn't pivot and other times too much. Hands and tracing with a natural pivot was pure magic. Well, those and lots of other things found only here at LBG and our favorite teacher from the north end.
Only another 10-12 weeks and we'll be outside with a satchel full of clubs looking at yellow range balls at our feet wondering what the heck to do with so many.
