Couldn't resist the opportunity and played a tournament round yesterday. Still bloody cold in my area around 0°C and still on wintergreens, but was able to score a 73 with 3 birdies.
I focussed especially on teh right forearm, and think this automatically brings the left wrist to level, hard to say now from memory, but it worked very well. As long as I do NOT COCK the left wrist in the backswing, I can swing as hard as I want and always make great contact.
Once I do try to get a bit further, I completely loos control, so from my feeling I can say I should look a bit like steve stricker at the moment, swingwise.
I wouldn't give it too much of value, since the ball went miles on the ground, but I had some real good shots during the day, I would say, more good ones then bad ones, able to hit 2 Par 5's in 2 and on 2 long Par 4's I had incredible pin seeking 3 irons.
The rest was "just solid", no big mistakes at all, besides 2 throwaway chips :-\ I'll work on that.
Since temperatures are anounced to go further down this week, I'll have a break from practise, hope to finally receive my ordered books and do some reading.
