It is good stuff...Imagine what it was like when it was "sharpened" when he was healthy and competing as oppossed to injured and tinkering?
Man it was awesome to watch him PLAY(I watched him a few times when I was working with Clearwater)...He played different from anyone I've ever seen...Even though he didn't score well...He played like Picasso or Michaelangelo...But a few sloppy "strokes" with the "brush" made his artwork go unappreciated....
It doesn't take much to turn a 65 into 75...as we all know!!!

Clearwater had/has one of my personal favorite motions. Very 'clean'. No wasted motion, a lot like Purtzer, just not as smooth tempo/transition.
I've only see a few clips of mac in motion, and many stills (was in '85 or so that one of the mags did a sequence?). If anyone has clips of mac during his 'prime' I'd love to see them. These are a real treat. Thanks for posting them.
