Congratulations on Great Results!
Great pic. Yoda with the badge. Looking as happy as ever. Doing what he wants to do and doing it "better than most!"

Mark Blackburn
Yoda, this is an awesome thread...glad to see both Brian and Heath do well last week. Looking forward to the video of Kip as well -- I was a huge fan of his on the BB II as well as his Nationwide tour stint the following season.
I subscribe to both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine...but started getting GolfWorld (published by Golf Digest). I really like GolfWorld since it has no golf instruction (which is just about all GD and GM have) but just articles regarding the tours and its players, and golf info...and it is very relevant since it is a weekly publication.
I was reading the article about the Honda Classic all about Boo Weekley and his 2nd stint on tour. It mentioned Mark Blackburn by name saying that Boo hired an instructor. He said that him and Mark don't work on anything special and that Mark just gives him simple advice (which he likes).
I guess Mark is really making a name for himself...pretty cool to see a TGM instructor being named!

Unfortunately for the television audience, they did not mention either the instructor or those adjustments.
But...
Fortunately for the members of LynnBlakeGolf.com, I did a video on Tuesday morning with Heath and his instructor, Mark Blackburn.
The subject of that video?
I bring glad tidings...
That would be those very same adjustments, as they were being made!
I'm off to Orlando tomorrow for the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill (and our fully-subscribed LBG Academy at Falcon's Fire later in the week), but I'll get Mrs. Yoda to ship the video out to Bagger on Monday. Assuming he is not otherwise engaged in his day job of multi-jillion dollar product launches with a major S & P 500 company -- I luv ya, man! -- he'll get it up toward the end of next week.
Is this a great place or what!?

From the Practice Tee of the PODS Championship and from LynnBlakeGolf.com to you...
A PGA TOUR professional at work with his Instructor.
Let's watch and listen in!

I taped this video of Heath Slocum and his instructor, Mark Blackburn, on Tuesday of tournament week. Five days later, Heath finished T2 (by one stroke) in a starting field of 144 of the best players in the world. He shot 68-69-67-71 (275, 9-under par) and earned $466,400.
Thanks, Heath and Mark, for inviting us into your world. And thanks also to our own Bagger Lance, for bringing this video to you!

Awesome clip!
Yoda, thanks for sharing this! It was cool to get an inside look at TGM at work on tour. Funny how a lot of the things that Heath is working on (and his concerns) are what us higher handicaps are working on as well (centered head, right forearm tracing, and the downswing waggle). Golf fundamentals and geometry are all the same no matter who swings the club I guess.

Thanks, Keith. And right you are: From Dub to TOUR player, the Alignments never vary. But...
The journey is without end.
I'll never forget our own time together down in The Swamp. Two 'half-days' memorialized in the Compression At Twilight video. Those who haven't seen the clip can check it out in the LBG Gallery.
Great stuff!

I like it, impacts sound great. The front-view pivot and stationary head look really nice as well.

Dear Yoda,
Which one you are refering to?
